Rose Cottage Pantry is very much a family business. We have farmed at Garton-on-the-Wolds since 1960 and continue to do so today. As far back as I can remember I have worked on the family farm and over the generations we have always worked closely together as a family and continue to do so today. My father, brother, partner as well as an extended family of local lifelong friends and neighbours are an integral part of Rose Cottage Pantry.

Following my time at Bishop Burton Agricultural College in East Yorkshire
I was inspired to look at ways of adding value to the produce from our farm. Rose Cottage Pantry was created in 1999 and was a natural evolution in terms of using quality home produce from our own farm. We use Pork sourced from local farmers across East Yorkshire in our products. Our Pies are made in the old East Riding way, using traditional regional skills and fresh local produce and using 'Grandma's' family recipes.

You will find the Rose Cottage Pantry team to be regular and friendly faces at Food Festivals and Farmers Markets. Food Festivals are an important part of our calendar and we have won many awards for our pies which we are very proud of. We attend all the local food fairs on our doorstep here in East Yorkshire which include York, Hull and Beverley as well as a host of others in almost every county in the UK. We also travel the length and breadth of the country to attend a whole range of events which as well as Food Festivals include Agricultural Shows, Galas, Game & Country Fairs, Craft Shows and Christmas Markets.
